Our WindStorm™ wind load rated system is available on selected products to meet regulations for a variety of wind speeds, ensuring your door is built to withstand varying wind conditions, including hurricane-force winds, and meet the most stringent local building codes.

Thermal Performance

*U-factor values are independently tested and verified per ANSI/DASMA 105. A test of thermal efficiency from 0.1 (very little heat loss) to 1.0 (high heat loss).

*R-value is a measure of thermal efficiency. The higher the R-value the greater the insulating properties of the door. Overhead Door Corporation uses a calculated door section R-value for our insulated doors.

Overhead Door^TM Brand participates in the DASMA Thermal Performance Verification Program. The program verifies the thermal performance of sectional doors. The lower the U-factor rating, the better the thermal performance.

The Model 1400 (170/171/175) is available in the the standard panel, long panel, and vertical short panel (V5) designs and features an embossed wood grain texture to enhance the appearance of your door. A 15-year limited warranty on these steel garage doors means it is built to last. A wide variety of window options are also available for these non-insulated steel garage doors.

Garage Door Model 1440 (173/174/176) – Features

The Model 1440 (173/174/176) is available in the standard panel, long panel, and vertical short panel (V5) designs, is constructed of heavy-duty steel and features an embossed wood grain texture to enhance the appearance of your door. A limited lifetime warranty on these steel garage doors means it is built to last. A wide variety of window options are also available for these non-insulated steel garage doors.

Garage Door Model 1500 (180/181/185) – Features

The Model 1500 (180/181/185) is available in the standard panel, long panel, and vertical short panel (V5) designs and features an embossed wood grain texture to enhance the appearance and durability of your door. The polystyrene insulation provides a 7.4 R-value for enhanced thermal efficiency of your garage space. A vinyl interior backing of the door provides a finished appearance. Model 1500 steel garage doors come with a 20-year limited warranty which means they are built to last. A wide variety of window options are also available for these steel garage doors.

Model 1600 steel garage doors come with a limited lifetime warranty which means they are built to last. A wide variety of window options are also available for these steel garage doors.

Out of them, our most popular design is the standard panel, and most doors you’ll see in your neighborhood fit into this category. However, if you want something with a more distinct silhouette, the long panel or vertical short design will give your door a flair all of its own.
